Launch of the Tech Awareness Project
In line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the mission of shaping the future, a technology-focused project was launched as part of the Capacity Development Program during the Masqabli Summer Preparation Program for students and their families.
The project aims to equip participants with essential tech skills that enable them to keep pace with the modern era, prepare for the future, and leverage the internet to utilize technology for various services that have become part of daily life, including legal, educational, and government e-services.
Notably, the Summer Preparation Program included projects and activities designed to enhance tech awareness for both the beneficiaries and their families. Participants received training on using Google Search, creating email accounts, practicing online safety, registering on government e-portals, and using smartphone basics.
For the families, in collaboration with the Global STEAM Camp, Tech Shop, and the Malast Organization, workshops were offered on Arduino, design, and 3D printing for second- and third-level Masqabli students at Nahda headquarters.
Masqabli students also learned about 3D printers and how they work, applying their skills through the Tinkercad design program. They explored the exciting world of Arduino, learning about integrated circuits, Arduino features, applications, and power sources for the Arduino board.
