AlNahda Society proudly congratulates Ms. Rasha bint Khalid Al-Turki, a member of its Board of Directors, on her appointment to the Family Affairs Council by a Cabinet decision chaired by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This appointment recognizes her exceptional competence and expertise in advocating for family issues and her commitment to enhancing the role of the family within Saudi society.

A prominent leader in the non-profit sector, Ms. Rasha Al-Turki served as the CEO of Al-Nahda Society from 2014 to 2021. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Research Center and the Advocacy Unit. Under her leadership, Al-Nahda was granted Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). In 2016, she was appointed by Royal Decree to the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Human Rights Commission. With extensive experience serving on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations and endowments, Ms. Al-Turki was elected to Al-Nahda’s Board of Directors in 2023 after previously serving as a consultant to the Board
