#BalanceForBetter Event
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Nahda organized the cultural event #BalanceForBetter, which featured an engaging experience in the Nahda lobby. The event complemented Nahda’s online campaign for International Women’s Day, and included a pledge wall promoting #BalanceForBetter as well as an introductory brochure about Nahda.
The event also included panel discussions with a distinguished group of speakers and influencers. Sultan Al-Mousa, a researcher in history and ancient civilizations, highlighted the dynamics of competition between men and women in ancient societies. This was followed by Maha Taher, Vice Chairwoman of Salik Company, who discussed strategies for achieving work-life balance. Additionally, Noor Al-Dabbagh, founder of the creative platform Banafsegil, addressed artistic evaluation and the promotion of art and design in the Gulf, exploring the theme: “Balance or Integration?”
Notably, alongside this event, Nahda held the first closed consultative dialogue sessions to explore ways to achieve justice and balance for women in the fields of work, technology, and financial inclusion. Through roundtable discussions with experts from the private, public, academic, and non-profit sectors, Nahda aims to highlight Saudi women’s priorities in international women’s forums.
